L&#8217;avantage majeur est de permettre la r\u00e9alisation d&#8217;inspection exhaustives (contr\u00f4le visuel, m\u00e9trologie LASER, mesure d&#8217;\u00e9paisseur de paroi, mesure de corrosion, contr\u00f4le de protection cathodique) avec un engin tr\u00e8s l\u00e9ger, extr\u00eamement maniable gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa propulsion vectorielle, et dont la taille r\u00e9duite permet le franchissement ais\u00e9 de trous d&#8217;homme standard.<\/p>\n<p>Cela permet d&#8217;\u00e9viter l&#8217;envoi d&#8217;hommes en zones confin\u00e9es pour ex\u00e9cuter ces travaux, pour lesquels des proc\u00e9dures de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 tr\u00e8s strictes et des moyens d&#8217;acc\u00e8s consistants doivent \u00eatre mis en \u0153uvre.
