Overview

Optimized for search, detection and securing operations

The TORTUGA XP4-SR is an ultra-compact underwater observation robot specifically designed for search and rescue missions, target detection, classification, localization and identification, and more broadly for all seabed inspection missions.

Rated for depths of up to 300 m, its compact design enables rapid deployment, including from light craft and in hard-to-reach areas, thanks to its onboard battery option.

Configuration

The TORTUGA XP4-SR can integrate a wide range of sensors and equipment — USBL, imaging sonar, manipulator arm, metal detector, DVL — to adapt to the requirements of each mission.

Key points

    • Search & Rescue missions
    • Detection, classification, localization and identification of targets
    • UXO / MCM (mine countermeasures)
    • Rapid inspection of sensitive areas (REA – Rapid Environmental Assessment)
