Mini-ROV Guardian

The Guardian is a 150m depth rated lightweight and compact underwater inspection robot fitted with high resolution colour video cameras and LED lighting. Its 4 horizontal thrusters design allows long range excursions up to 500m. Thanks to an ancillary plug, various accessories such as sonars, gauges and manipulator can easily be mounted on the Guardian. Its small dimensions and low weight make the Observer a highly manoeuvrable tool, quickly and easily implemented by a single operator.

Options and accessories

Let your Mini-ROV be even smarter! Thanks to a multitude of options and accessories, your Guardian will become an indispensable tool for all your underwater observation and inspection missions.

Manipulators et samplers

Subsea Tech has developed its own accessories for Mini-ROV. Among them, a 2-function manipulator that allows grabbing objects, a cutter to cut cables and ropes, as well as water or sediment samplers.

High turbidity does not allow the use of the standard video camera. Acoustic solutions allow a feedback even in zero visibility conditions. Scanning sonar makes it possible to scan a zone for navigation purpose, while 2D multibeam sonar, also called "acoustic camera", is a high-performance real-time imaging solution.

Acoustic positionning

USBL systems allow location of a target relative to a reference unit on the surface. You can then easily locate and record routing of your Mini-ROV Guardian, which facilitates navigation and increases the efficiency of excursions.

Measurement probes

Subsea Tech Mini-ROV can be equipped with various probes such as: thickness measurement probe, cathodic protection measurement probe or several physico-chemical probes (salinity, conductivity, pH,...)

Laser pointer

The combination of Subsea Tech's laser pointer and Inspection Viewer software is a complete solution for measuring all kinds of distances on images captured by the ROV.

Cable reel

Wind and unwind Mini-ROV umbilical easily with this manual winch fitted with a slip ring.

Wheel frame

If you carry out pipe inspections, the wheel frame helps to contain the risk of friction on the walls.

Image enhancement

Increase the quality of your inspections with the LYYN Hawk Board real-time image enhancement system, integrated directly into the console.

Due to the growing coronavirus epidemic, the French government has announced a containment measure for the entire country for a minimum period of 14 days starting March 17, 2020. Therefore, Subsea Tech will partially cease its activity for the duration of the containment. During this period, only commercial and engineering activities (studies in particular) will continue to operate. Production, after-sales service and interventions will be suspended until the containment measures are cancelled.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that caution is required and that it is important to respect the basic hygiene instructions, as well as the specific safety instructions put in place by your government.

We thank you for your understanding and look forward to seeing you soon!
